NATURE BACKS CLOTHING CO.
You don’t have to scale a cliff, make it to the top of Everest, or tight-rope across the Grand Canyon to be an adventurer. An adventure can seeing a waterfall, kayaking at sunrise, or even stargazing in your backyard. Nature Backs inspires their followers daily to experience these little things in life and to be in the present moment. I loved my time with Nature Backs because I knew my creations were inspiring others to get outside and adventure!
This was a giant 8’ banner for a booth at our local music festival, Backwoods! I love this fest, and it was so much fun to have an installation.
This is my first original NB tee design: “Stellar” featuring a Joshua Tree. Bonus points if you can find my hidden “maker’s mark”!

This design is one of many that channel my favorite mantra: As Above, So Below. It can be interpreted in so many ways- day & night, moon & sun, black & white, mountains & valleys, light & darkness. I used this mantra for so many of my pieces for Nature Backs! This one was used for a hat patch and a neck tag.

This brochure was one of my first big projects for Nature Backs! We needed something small and compact, as it was usually handed out during our annual trips to Denver for Outdoor Retailer. It was also shipped out in sample boxes for potential retail locations! It highlights information about what we were selling at the time, the history of the brand, and all of our social media & website info. I love creating interactive and unique pieces because it keeps the potential customer reading.

Mantra Stickers
The stickers in this pack are all original designs I created using some of Nature Backs’ favorite mantras. These mantras are how the brand reminds us to live in the present moment and enjoy the adventure.
FLIP-TRIPS
Flip-Trips are bracelets, each with a unique location. You wear your Flip-Trip on the black logo side until you visit the location to remember that adventure awaits, then when you visit the location you “flip” it to the white side as a memory of your adventure! The Flip-Trips below are the ones I got to create for the brand.

FLIP-TRIP CARDS
Since Flip-Trips are collectible, I decided to go with a trading card style design. Flip-Trips are wrapped around the length of this custom 2x4 card, and with 36pt trifecta stock they are nice and sturdy. Each card is completely unique just like the Flip-Trips. This was my biggest project and really upgraded our UX.

limited edition stickers
These stickers were a limited release that we created for our booth at Backwoods Music Festival in 2019. I love festivals and anything spacey, so it's obvious that I loved creating these!

day & night
Every order from Nature Backs comes with two free stickers. a free flip-trip, and this information card. It is a 3x3 16pt matte card that helps add to the experience of getting your NB order in the mail. I created this in a spiral because I feel that products customers can interact with are the products that are the most successful.
Retail Banners
Nature Backs is sold in several different types of retail locations across the US, from boutiques to department stores. These 5’ x 2’ banners were sent to the stores to display with the products.
